Students in Mrs Shipman’s Landscaping, Greehouse and Horticulture 1 classes were given a grant to complete their OSHA 10-Hour General Industry(Agriculture) training course. This course provides training for entry level workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in agricultural industry. Those who meet the requirements, or completers of this training, receive an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry wallet card showing their certification. This certification is recognizable by employers and industries.
