The Knights of Columbus John Marshall High School Students of the Month for November are Savannah Carter, Victoria Finley and Megan Schwing. Knights of Columbus Grand Knight Lou Richmond gave these students their awards.

Megan’s interests include sports and math. She also enjoys reading and riding four-wheelers in her free time. Her extracurricular include being a member of the Leo Club as well as Drug Free Club. She lists being student of the month all three years of middle school as one of her accomplishments.

Victoria is very proud of winning 2nd place for the West Virginia History Bowl at Sherrard Middle School, as well as being awarded the Golden Horseshoe. Her interests include history and math as well as basketball, softball and running.

Savannah’s interests include her education, cosmetology and singing. She lists her accomplishments as being student of the month and having straight A’s all year.

John Marshall Freshman Principal Geno Polsinelli feels these students “have persevered to start off this school year with the COVID-19 virus still everywhere” and that they are very deserving of this award.
