The Knights of Columbus John Marshall Students of the Month for April are Maci Wells, Joseph Rogers and Carter Adkins. Grand Knight Lou Richmond of the Knights of Columbus gave these students their awards.

Maci Wells’ interests include Social Studies and doing projects with other people. Her extracurricular activities include the Drug Free Club and Monarch Maniacs Club and lacrosse. She says getting student of the month and getting three honors awards are some accomplishments she’s most proud of this year.

Joseph Rogers’ interests include math, playing sports and helping others. He is not participating in any extracurricular activities at the moment. He says student of the month is an accomplishment he’s most proud of as a Monarch.

Carter Adkins’ interests include playing sports and hanging out with friends. His extracurricular activities include wrestling, football and strings. He says student of the month and placing at the OVAC Wrestling Tournament are his greatest accomplishments.

John Marshall High School Freshman Principal Geno Polsinelli believes these students all fit the characteristics of the Knights of Columbus. He continues to say they are very caring students, and have lots of service around and outside of school which makes them good citizens. Polsinelli also says these students accelerate in the classroom.
