The Knights of Columbus John Marshall Students of the Month for November are Savannah Potts, Morgan Messner and Zoey Toothman. Grand Knight Lou Richmond of the Knights of Columbus gave two of the students their awards. Zoey Toothman wasn’t available during the presentation.

Savannah Potts’s interests and extracurricular activities include marching band and swimming. She lists being a West Virginia History Bowl State Champion as her most proud accomplishment.

Morgan Messner’s interests include music and sports. Her extracurricular activities include golf, swim and orchestra. She lists K of C Student of the Month and her Golden Horseshoe award as her most proud accomplishments.

John Marshall High School Freshman Principal Geno Polsinelli believes these students have a giving spirit inside and outside the school building. “With the Christmas season in the air these students are giving all of themselves not only in the classroom, but also have the giving spirit for their community and for the good around our school building,” Polsinelli said.
