The PLUS Program at Muskingum University is nationally recognized for offering comprehensive academic support services to college students with learning differences such as learning disabilities and ADHD.

In brief, PLUS Program services provide an average of 2-4 hours per week of structured 1:1 tutorials with trained adult professional Learning Consultants and Learning Associates.  The proven model of Embedded Strategy Instruction fosters student academic success.

In addition to the individualized tutoring, students are offered assistance in buliding self advocacy skills for use when speaking with their professors and other college offices.  Each student has a primary Learning Consultant or Learning Associate who acts as a liason to home and faculty.

We all know that the greatest return is realized when you build upon a strength rather than trying to improve a weakness.  But do we all act consistently from this perspective?  Students in the PLUS Program partner with their Learning Consultants and Learning Associates to move forward in college, work and life pursuits.
